Job summary

Mountaineer Cleaning & Maintenance in Sevier County, TN is seeking a Property Readiness Houseman to keep vacation rentals guest-ready. You’ll move between cabins, deliver linens, replace batteries, light bulbs, and air filters, restock supplies, and photograph completed work to document readiness.

You'll work four 10-hour shifts on a four-day week, with driving across Sevier County and a focus on preventing guest complaints by solving issues before arrival. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance, delivery, or property services is a plus.
• Ability to drive between properties in Sevier County and lift 40–50 pounds.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive between vacation rentals to support inspection, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Deliver linens, towels, supplies and owner items.
• Respond to inspection callbacks and restock missing supplies.
• Replace batteries, light bulbs, and air filters as needed.
• Complete small property resets and photograph your work for records.
• Keep the work vehicle organized and communicate with dispatch.

At Mountaineer Cleaning & Maintenance, we're looking for a Property Readiness Houseman - the person who keeps vacation rentals guest-ready when things don't go according to plan.

One minute you might be delivering fresh linens to a cabin. The next, you're replacing batteries in a smart lock, swapping an air filter, restocking supplies, or fixing a small issue that could have become a bad guest review.

No two days are the same, and honestly, that's exactly how we like it.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll spend your day driving between vacation rental properties throughout Sevier County helping our inspection, housekeeping, and maintenance teams keep cabins ready for guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering linens, towels, supplies, and owner items
• Responding to inspection callbacks
• Restocking missing supplies
• Replacing batteries, light bulbs, and air filters
• Completing small property resets
• Taking clear completion photos and documenting your work
• Keeping your work vehicle organized and stocked
• Communicating with dispatch throughout the day
• Solving problems before guests ever know they existed

You're not expected to be an electrician, plumber, or contractor. We have departments for that.

You're also not here to become the replacement cleaner every time someone has a bad day.

You're here to keep properties ready and operations moving.

Experience in hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance, delivery, or property services is a big plus - but a strong work ethic matters even more.

Schedule

Choose one of our four-day workweeks:

Option A
Friday–Monday
8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Option B
Sunday–Wednesday
8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Yes, weekends are part of the job. Vacation rentals don't stop because it's Saturday.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting pay: $19.00/hour
• 90-day performance review with potential pay increase, though not guaranteed.
