The Domain Companies in New York seeks a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our properties, support residents, and assist on daily operations. You will be part of a small, energetic team focused on delivering a high-quality experience for residents and visitors.

You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, collaborating with maintenance staff and property teams to address issues, manage priorities, and uphold our community standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Customer centric with a warm demeanor, positive attitude, and impeccable follow through.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to plan and prioritize efficiently and motivate/lead team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines/interruptions.
• Maintain an organized filing system and office areas

Responsibilities

• Ensure our property looks exceptional at all times; porters maintain cleanliness inside and outside.
• Follow safety programs and policies to keep team and residents safe.
• Communicate with maintenance team and residents about issues and notices.
• Assist in operational needs and priorities to keep property running smoothly.
• Perform unit-turns for vacated apartments to present a clean, ready home.
• Support resident events and activities and help with setup and teardown.
