Job Description Summary
Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance.
Essential Job Duties
- Ensure the smooth operation of the community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
- Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork according to company standards.
- Track and evaluate advertising efforts and all client traffic.
- Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
- Drive revenue through understanding and analyzing competition and developing creative marketing programs.
- Lead by example, instilling and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervise daily operations of the on-site team, ensuring policy adherence.
- Maintain effective staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
- Keep residents' files in accordance with company standards.
- Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
- Manage the overall community budget and finances.
- Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.

Important Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Real Estate License preferred

- 3+ years of Property Management experience
- 3+ years of Management experience
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment. Regular travel is required.
Physical Demands
Employees may need to stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and travel outside in varying weather. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and frequently.
