Property Manager - Multifamily Apartments

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager for our West Haven Apartments (150 units).

*This role requires a credit evaluation, background check, and drug screening.

Pay: Salary from $52,000 to $55,000 based on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses throughout the year.
Schedule: M-F 8-5 PM.
Paid holidays and 80 hours PTO in the first year, including birthdays and work anniversaries.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Operate the property within financial guidelines (the Budget).
  • Recommend ways to increase income, reduce expenses, and grow net operating income.
  • Ensure property is leased at or above market occupancy and rent levels per owner guidelines.
  • Maintain current and effective marketing strategies.
  • Manage on-site personnel and foster a positive work environment.
  • Process invoices promptly.
  • Manage rental income and delinquency.
  • Build and maintain resident relations to foster community.
  • Maximize tenant renewal rates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in multi-family housing.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Yardi software.
  • Knowledge of relevant resident/property management laws.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to pass background and credit checks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
