Property Manager, Multifamily (Affordable, Bilingual)
Job Description Summary
Multifamily Bilingual Affordable Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring high-level service. They motivate high-performing teams to maximize the performance of HUD tax credit / LIHTC properties.
Starting salary ranges from $72,000 to $80,000, with eligibility for additional earnings and benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all community operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
- Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease and renewal paperwork according to company standards.
- Track and evaluate advertising effectiveness and all client traffic.
- Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a cohesive, high-performing team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management to maximize engagement and reduce turnover.
- Analyze competition and market trends to develop creative marketing strategies that drive revenue.
- Lead by example, embodying Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervise daily operations of the onsite team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Hire, interview, and coach staff to maintain effective onsite personnel.
- Maintain resident files in compliance with standards.
- Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
- Manage community budget and finances effectively.
- Coordinate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.

Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Real Estate License (preferred)
- Affordable Housing Certifications (TCS, COS, BOS, HCCP) strongly preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of on-site Multifamily Property Manager experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Affordable Housing, Tax Credit / Section 42 / LIHTC.
- Bilingual Spanish fluency required.
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Travel is regularly required.
Physical Demands:
Employees may need to stand, walk, ascend stairs, and operate office machinery. Travel up to 15% may be required. Must be able to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and frequently.
