Job Description Summary

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  • Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease and renewal paperwork according to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising efforts and client traffic.
  • Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management staff to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Drive revenue through analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Lead by example, embodying Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervise daily operations of the on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain effective staffing through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
  • Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.
  • Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
  • Manage the community’s budget and finances.
  • Coordinate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.

Important Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Real Estate License preferred

Important Experience:

  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience

Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. Travel may be required.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds. Travel up to 15% may be required.
