Job Description Summary

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring high-level of service. They motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Ensure the smooth operation of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  2. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease and renewal paperwork according to company standards.
  3. Track and evaluate advertising efforts and all client traffic.
  4. Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  5. Drive revenue through understanding of competition and development of creative marketing strategies.
  6. Lead by example, embodying Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
  7. Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policy and procedure compliance.
  8. Maintain effective staffing through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
  9. Maintain resident files according to company standards.
  10. Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
  11. Manage community budget and finances.
  12. Coordinate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.

  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and internet skills
  • Office, bookkeeping, and sales skills with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Real Estate License

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience

Work Environment:

Professional office environment; routine use of standard office equipment; travel required.

Physical Demands:

Stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, travel outside in various weather conditions, sit/stand for extended periods, operate office machinery, and exert force up to 25 pounds.
