Property Manager-LIPH (Finance)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a property portfolio consisting of elderly, family, and scattered site housing. Implement controls to ensure timely rent collection and consistent lease enforcement among tenants. Conduct daily rounds and individual house calls to reinforce lease compliance.
- Participate in preparing the annual operating budget for property management sites.
- Market units to prospective tenants. Perform housekeeping inspections 90 days after move-in and refer potential problem tenants to housekeeping classes.
- Conduct annual inspections on all units. Take necessary actions to address lease violations, including initiating eviction procedures if necessary.
- Collect rent and assess special charges. Enforce rent collection policies consistently and proceed with evictions for non-compliant tenants.
- Work directly with residents, resident organizations, and social services staff to investigate and resolve complaints, and initiate community programs.
- Provide Gold Standard customer service to internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with maintenance and modernization staff to ensure proper upkeep, curb appeal, and effective use of modernization funds for physical improvements.
- Supervise property management staff: train, hire, discipline, approve leave, mentor, and conduct performance reviews. Manage timesheets and payroll adjustments.
