Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is a leader in the property management industry seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and drive leasing and resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes financial accountability, staff leadership, and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, enforcing safety guidelines, and implementing a resident retention program while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience required.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily inspections and coordinate with maintenance.
• Supervise staff, schedule work, delegate duties, resolve conflicts.
• Interview and hire property employees.
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are followed and infractions reported.
• Meet leasing objectives with effective sales techniques.
• Address resident requests and concerns with discretion.
• Handle administrative duties and required reporting.
• Design and maintain a resident retention program and events.
• Develop and implement marketing and advertising concepts for staff use.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Fair Housing, and AMC safety guidelines.
• Investigate incidents involving residents, employees, vendors.
