Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and drive financial and occupancy goals across our properties in California. You will interview and hire team members, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily physical inspections of the property and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Maintain direct supervision of all staff, including work schedules and delegation of duties.
• Interview and hire all property employees.
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are upheld and infractions are properly reported.
• Meet leasing objectives by applying effective sales techniques.
• Address resident requests or concerns with discretion and professionalism.
• Handle administrative duties including required reporting.
• Implement and maintain a resident retention program (newsletter, referrals, social activities).
• Design/maintain a marketing and advertising concept for staff to implement.
• Ensure property compliance with OSHA and Fair housing guidelines.
• Investigate and report incidents regarding residents, employees, vendors.
