Job summary

Vesta Corporation in Barnstable (Hyannis area), MA, is seeking an experienced Property Manager for Village Green & Yarmouth Commons. You will own day-to-day operations, including finances, leasing, compliance, and resident retention, and lead a on-site team to deliver strong results.

The role requires 3–5 years in occupancy/leasing or APM, supervisory experience, and knowledge of affordable housing programs. Company offers 401(k), vacation/sick/holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in occupancy, leasing, or APM roles.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience with site-based affordable housing programs strongly preferred.
• COS and/or CPO certification strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, property management software).

Responsibilities

• Own the properties' financial results: annual budget, rent collection, delinquencies, and HAP/special claims.
• Keep the community full through marketing, outreach, and a strong leasing team.
• Stay compliant with affordable housing program requirements: recertifications, resident files and agency documentation.
• Build strong relationships with residents and lead retention initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and lead on-site staff.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the property safe, well-maintained, and ready to lease.
• Lead the community emergency response team and keep the property safe, with a 'safety first' culture.

You'll have full ownership of day-to-day operations: financial performance, leasing, compliance, resident retention, and a team you lead. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Successful background check and drug screen
