Job summary

GGP is seeking a Property Manager for Pembroke Lakes Mall in Florida to lead the on-site team and partner with the Sr General Manager to achieve property metrics and guest satisfaction. You will foster community connections and ensure safe, well-maintained operations.

The role requires supervising staff, managing relationships with tenants, and supporting corporate objectives across Leasing, Accounting, and Finance while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of property management experience preferred; shopping center industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial & accounting principles.
  • Effective writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the property to provide guests with a positive shopping experience.
  • Prepare and manage multi-year capital and OPEX plans.
  • Monitor NOI, cash flow, occupancy, sales, and property financing.

The Property Manager leads the property team, building community connections, and achieving operational excellence in all while complying with safety and health principles.ResponsibilitiesOperate a clean, well maintained property providing guests with a positive shopping experiencePrepare and manage multi-year ordinary capital and operating expense plans to meet or exceed company expectationsStrong understanding of key metrics for the property including net operating income, cash flow, occupancy, sales, and property financingDevelop the talent of the property team while ensuring compliance with all company policies and proceduresDemonstrate leadership by building successful teams representative of the company’s core valuesDevelop relationships with corporate departments including Leasing, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, National Operations, Human Resources, Development (as needed) to ensure property and corporate objectives are metDevelop strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants to know sales performance, merchandise trends, top performing categories/brands and be familiar with local market business and real estate trendsDevelop favorable relationships with local officials, government leaders, first responders, key stakeholders, and community organizationsHelp identify opportunities to create meaningful partnerships and experiences that drive community connection with the propertyUnderstand all REA obligations and partnerships with adjacent property ownersSupport the real estate tax team in developing proactive tax strategiesSupport corporate sustainability efforts to reduce the property’s carbon footprintMonitor and assist with accounts receivables as needed to achieve company objectivesSupport the Safety, Health, and Environment program by incorporating Brookfield Properties’ Life Saving Principles into your work planning and executionParticipate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) schedule during non-office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. MOD coverage may be defined as on call, when appropriate, and the MOD is required to be on-site at least one Saturday per month.
