Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of medical properties in Central Florida. The role is onsite at our downtown Orlando office with site visits as needed.

You will supervise the team, manage operating and capital budgets, prepare monthly performance reports, and coordinate with owners to meet objectives. You will respond to tenant needs, issue notices, and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenant needs and issues.
• Act as primary contact with property owners, delivering reports.
• Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses; forecast plans and monthly reports.
• Help create programs for emergency recoveries.
• Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
• Review tenant rent and CAM charges for timely payment.
• Provide supervision, training, and mentorship; lead recruiting and hiring of staff.
• Coordinate daily activities; set work schedules and cross-train staff.
• Lead by CBRE RISE values; align stakeholders to reach agreement.
• Apply knowledge of own field to team objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

About The Role:

As a CBRE Property Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a portfolio of medical properties in Central Florida.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

The role sits onsite in our downtown CBRE office in Orlando, FL USA, with site visits, offsite client meetings, etc. when needed. It supports 10 medical offices throughout Central Florida.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to raised tenant needs and issues.
• Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
• Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
• Help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
• Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
• Review tenant rent as well as calculate and reconcile common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is timely.
• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department goal dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
• Apply knowledge of own field and how own subject area integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
