Job summary

PMI Prime Property Services is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a mixed residential/commercial portfolio. You’ll manage leasing, maintenance, resident experience, and owner communications to safeguard properties while delivering dependable service.

You will analyze performance, coordinate move-ins and renewals, and lead cross-team collaborations to ensure smooth operations and strong tenant relations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential properties or comparable operations.
• Strong organization, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret owner statements and property performance information.
• Experience coordinating vendors, maintenance requests, and property turns.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and hold others accountable for timely follow-through.
• Proficiency with Rentvine, Tenant Turner, and LeadSimple.
• Active New Jersey real estate license is required to hang at our firm.
• Familiarity with property analysis tools such as Blanket or Rescover is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing activity including lead flow, showings, applications, lease execution, occupancy, and days on market.
• Review application decisions against screening criteria and ensure documentation consistency.
• Coordinate move-ins, confirm required documentation and funds, and work with Maintenance to verify readiness.
• Lead renewal outreach and respond to resident concerns and escalations.
• Oversee work orders, emergency response, property evaluations, vendor work, and make-ready projects.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned owners and provide property updates.
• Review owner reports and property performance, including rental income and expenses.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintenance spending while protecting service quality.
• Apply operational policies and support Fair Housing compliance.
• Manage workflows and follow-ups in LeadSimple, Rentvine, and across teams.

About the Role

At PMI Prime Property, we’re a locally owned and operated property management business looking for a Property Manager to take ownership of an assigned residential / commercial portfolio. You’ll oversee leasing, maintenance, resident experience, owner communication, and property performance to make sure each property is managed with care and attention.

This role calls for someone who can see how each part of the portfolio affects the others. You’ll keep work moving across teams, resolve escalated concerns, monitor financial and leasing results, and make decisions that protect owners’ properties while delivering dependable service to residents.

Requirements

• Experience managing residential properties or comparable operations across leasing, maintenance, and customer service.
• Strong organization, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret owner statements and property performance information.
• Experience coordinating vendors, maintenance requests, and property turns.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and hold others accountable for timely follow-through.
• Proficiency with property management and workflow tools comparable to Rentvine, Tenant Turner, and LeadSimple.
• Working knowledge of consistent application screening and Fair Housing practices.
• 1+ years of property management experience preferred.
• An active New Jersey real estate license, is required to be hung at our firm for this role
• Familiarity with property analysis tools such as Blanket or Rescover is a plus.
