Job summary

Sage Ventures, a full‑service residential development and investment firm in the greater Baltimore/Washington region, is seeking a Property Manager to oversee site teams, daily operations, and asset value enhancement. The role includes implementing policies and ensuring smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, leasing experience, and proficiency with property management software such as Yardi and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of property management experience.

• Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, YARDI or other property management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site employees: Assistant Manager, Leasing, and Maintenance Teams; hold staff accountable and develop the team.
• Create and oversee property budget.
• Timely reporting and communication with Regional Manager.
• Oversee third‑party inspections.
• Oversee renovation projects.
• Serve as backup for roles at the property as needed.

Position Summary:

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing site employees, daily operations, and increasing the overall value of the asset. This includes timely implementation of policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Employee Management of Assistant Manager, Leasing, and Maintenance Teams
  • Hold staff accountable for all responsibilities
  • Hire and develop team
  • Create schedules
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Implement realistic and attainable goals
  • Lead and motivate team to ensure goals are achieved
• Creation and oversight of budget
• Timely reporting and communication with Regional Manager
• Oversight of all third-party inspections
• Oversight of renovation projectsOther duties as necessary in-order-to maintain the property and to meet resident needs
• Serve as backup for any roles at the property, as needed

Requirements:
