Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking a Property Manager in Austin to lead day-to-day operations and leasing for a multifamily community. You will drive occupancy, oversee maintenance, and manage staff to achieve budgeted goals.

You will work closely with the Regional Director on annual budgets, while maintaining resident satisfaction and strong community standards. Roers offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years management, leasing and/or sales experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Yardi and RENTCafé experience preferred.
  • Local market experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word & Excel, internet, email, and social media for marketing.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new development preferred.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to staffing needs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, integrity and teamwork.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, stairs, inspections, and driving.
  • Maintain neat, well-groomed professional appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve property performance goals set by management.

  • Direct property operations and staff efficiently.
  • Supervise maintenance and timely work orders.
  • Oversee rent collections and deposits.
  • Pursue delinquent rents and evictions timely.
  • Supervise resident relations and enforce community rules.
  • Collaborate with Regional Director on annual budget objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits for Property Manager:

Pay Range: $57,900 - $76,100 + eligible for an annual bonus opportunity of up to 10% paid quarterly based on property performance and achievement of establishment metrics, in addition to competitive monthly commissions.

Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve property performance goals set by management.
  • Maintain strong resident relations, ensuring the residents are served well and satisfied with the community.
  • Oversee the leasing of apartments and ensure that occupancy rates are maintained.
  • Direct property operations and staff in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Supervise maintenance staff to ensure work orders, building repairs, and corrective maintenance are being completed in a timely, correct manner.
  • Oversee and manage rent collections and bank deposits.
  • Pursue delinquent rents and evictions timely and aggressively.
  • Supervise resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.
  • Work with Regional Director to develop, monitor and achieve annual budget objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
