DHI Communities is a division of D.R. Horton, Inc., focused on multifamily development.

We are seeking a Leasing Manager-PM responsible for overseeing leasing and marketing operations at our property. The role involves collaboration with regional teams to meet leasing targets and develop strategic marketing plans, along with leading the leasing process and maintaining positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Implement effective leasing techniques to meet goals, including closing metrics, follow-up procedures, lease signing/documentation, and accurate reporting.
  2. Conduct all functions necessary to close sales: appointments, lead generation, tours, lease signing, follow-up, and managing the move-in process.
  3. Manage the application process and lease renewals.
  4. Follow up with prospective residents via email, calls, and other contacts to encourage leasing and renewals.
  5. Perform community inspections and coordinate repairs to maintain community appearance.
  6. Assist in supervising operational functions and support the leasing team’s training and performance development.
  7. Ensure the leasing team has necessary materials and supplies, and monitor their conversion rates from inquiries to leases.
  8. Provide consistent service throughout the resident lifecycle and stay informed about market conditions through competitive property visits.
  9. Adhere to all regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA, and conduct business ethically to enhance company goodwill and profitability.
  10. Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel.
  11. Respond promptly to resident concerns, assist with vendor scheduling, and contribute to marketing and resident events.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years in leasing, sales, or customer service
  • Strong multitasking, interpersonal, and sales skills
  • Effective communication and proficiency with internet marketing tools
  • Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions

Preferred:

  • Experience with property management software such as OneSite, ILM, or Propertyware
