Position Summary:

We are seeking a Leasing Consultant-PM in our Operations Department. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping people find and love their new home, serving as a customer-focused problem solver who enjoys assisting others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interact with prospective and current residents, communicating the value and experience of living at a DHI Communities (DHIC) Build-To-Rent community.
  • Manage the application process.
  • Follow-up with prospects and residents via email, calls, or notes to finalize leasing or renewal decisions.
  • Provide consistent service throughout the resident lifecycle.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns, taking appropriate action or escalating as needed.
  • Manage lease expirations and secure renewals.
  • Assist with community marketing activities and resident events.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Conduct all business ethically to serve customers and promote company goodwill and profit.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and explaining legal documents and amenities.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, CRM programs, and internet marketing tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales, leasing, retail, or customer service.
