Position: Groundskeeper - PM

The ideal candidate will be responsible for general maintenance and cleanliness of the community's interior and exterior common areas, assisting with diagnosing and repairing maintenance issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain community grounds, breezeways, and common areas by removing debris and performing cleaning tasks.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and community appearance, including trash pickup, pressure washing, painting, and general upkeep.
• Ensure stair towers are clean and safe, and exterior steps are secure.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning.
• Inspect building exteriors and lighting daily, reporting issues promptly.
• Deliver excellent resident service through professional interactions.
• Assist with general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Follow all safety and environmental policies.
• Perform groundskeeping duties such as trash removal, blowing debris, and cleaning dumpster areas.
• Assist with pool maintenance and unit make-ready preparations.
• Complete work orders and communicate effectively with support teams.
• Remove snow and salt walkways in winter, if applicable.
• Conduct all business professionally to serve customers and support company goals.
• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0-3 years groundskeeping/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance processes.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to outdoor weather and mechanical hazards.

Preferred:

• Trade knowledge.
