The role leads a team responsible for day-to-day property operations and works closely with residents, staff, vendors, and community partners.
Working collaboratively across the organization, the Property Management Director oversees a broad range of functions related to property operations, resident services, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and capital planning. The position plays a key role in establishing operational priorities, implementing best practices, and advancing the CDA's mission and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities include overseeing property management staff and operations; ensuring compliance with housing regulations and CDA policies; managing property budgets and financial performance; supporting resident relations and lease enforcement; coordinating maintenance and capital improvement activities; developing operational policies and procedures; monitoring vendor performance; and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.

The hiring range for this position is $109,602.37 - $ 133,348.04, annually based on experience.
Performs complex professional work directing, planning, managing, and maintaining all Property Management programs, real estate, and physical assets of the CDA, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the Executive Director. Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel within the department. Serves as the primary point of contact for property-related matters, coordinates with legal counsel on evictions and revenue recovery, represents the CDA at meetings, supports Board and executive activities.

Bachelor's degree with progressively responsible property management experience, preferable in affordable or public housing, including one year of supervisory experience.
Master's degree preferred.
