Job summary

RHF is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for LaFontaine Center in Huntington, IN. The role supports the Property Manager with daily operations, responds to service requests, and assists with apartment turnover to keep the community safe, clean, and welcoming for residents.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and service-oriented with the ability to manage maintenance areas and communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Building/Property Maintenance: maintain interior and exterior appearance of the buildings and property.
• Unit Turnovers: complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out.
• Painting and Preventative Maintenance: perform painting duties and preventative tasks.
• Inspections: assist in apartment and systems inspections.
• Work Orders: respond to work orders and enter details into OneSite.
• Maintenance Emergencies: address emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
