Job summary

Chapman Management Group is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee the smooth operation of the property's physical plant. You will perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance, repair plumbing and electrical systems, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained property for residents.

You will handle on-call emergencies, supervise contract staff, and coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize work orders and schedule non-routine tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with residents and management effectively.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to convey technical concerns clearly and accurately.
• Fluent English; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance across the property.
• Address plumbing, electrical, and building systems repairs.
• Respond to work orders promptly and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate with residents about maintenance activities and outcomes.
• Supervise temporary staff and subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and ensure proper documentation.
