Job summary

Blue Magma Residential is seeking a Maintenance Expert to perform daily repair and upkeep of our property in a professional and safety-conscious manner.

You will inspect and maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems, and common areas, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and community rules. On-site presence and on-call availability are required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal License required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in the apartment industry as a Maintenance Expert or higher.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and inventory control.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers one-on-one or in groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Enforce community rules and report violations as needed.
• Assist groundskeeper and maintain grounds daily.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools owned by the property/management company.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available for on-call work and secure maintenance shops at day end.
