Job summary

Blue Magma Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in College Park, GA to perform daily repair and upkeep of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. The role requires maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring compliance with community rules, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in apartment maintenance, knowledge of electrical/HVAC/plumbing/pool maintenance, and EPA license with HVAC preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal License required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in the apartment industry as a Maintenance Expert or higher.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and inventory control.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude of self and staff.
• Enforce community rules and report violations as needed.
• Assist groundskeeper and maintain grounds.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Supply and upkeep of personal tools.
• Maintain property uniform and professional appearance.
• Keep work area, tools and equipment clean.
• Operate within OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available on-call and secure maintenance shops after hours.
