Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team members.

Property Maintenance Technician:

Brushy Creek MUD is seeking a dedicated professional to perform a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, enhancement, and operation of District parks and recreational facilities. • Restrooms, Fountains, and Pavilions – Cleans and maintains public restrooms, drinking fountains, and pavilions, including power washing and routine maintenance.
  • Structures and Outdoor Facilities – Sweeps, cleans, paints, and repairs buildings, slabs, and picnic tables to enhance the overall park experience.
  • Playgrounds and Equipment – Inspects, cleans, paints, and repairs playground structures. Maintains mulch and ensures playgrounds are safe and welcoming for children.
  • Trees and Landscaping – Trims, fertilizes, plants, and stakes trees, while removing trimmings and keeping areas clean and attractive.
  • Maintenance Tasks and Work Orders – Completes routine and special work orders efficiently and professionally, including on-call responsibilities.
  • Community Events – Assists in planning, setting up, and breaking down community events while helping to create memorable experiences for the community.

What We Are Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.

Benefits:

  • The District covers the entire cost of employees' medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), and Short- and Long-Term Insurance up to 50K.
  • Retirement plan through the Texas County District Retirement System with a contribution match of 2 to 1 at retirement.
  • Employee-funded 457 option.
