Job summary

Vest Residential in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work that keeps buildings, grounds, and amenities safe, clean, and functional. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders from residents, and perform preventative maintenance.

The role includes preparing vacant apartments for leasing, managing inventory and materials, documenting tasks, and assisting with grounds care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and perform repairs per safety standards and policies.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for proper tracking.
• Assist in grounds and common areas maintenance, light cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
