Description: The HVAC & General Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and performing various general property maintenance tasks at multi-family residential properties. This role ensures tenant satisfaction by keeping properties functional, safe, and visually appealing while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and heat pumps.
• Conducting preventive maintenance such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and diagnosing issues.
• Installing new HVAC systems or components according to building codes.
• Performing plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and patching.
• Maintaining the exterior including landscaping, snow removal, and debris clearance.
• Conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Communicating effectively with management, tenants, and team members.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification required.
• Experience in HVAC and general property maintenance.
• Knowledge of building systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and hand/power tools.
• Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
