Job summary

Southwood Realty in Forest, VA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds. You will perform onsite maintenance and preventative tasks to preserve the property's condition and value.

Key duties include responding to service requests within 24 hours, coordinating with tenants, and supporting a plan for ongoing maintenance and turnover of vacant units, while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service oriented.
• Must be able to stand and walk; frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service and maintenance requests within 24-hours
• Follow up on service requests to assure customer satisfaction
• Insures OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times
• Participate in implementation of an ongoing property maintenance and improvement plan
• Produce turns on vacant units within 5 working days
• Maintain 80% of vacant units in "ready" condition at all times
• Maintain vacant units daily
