Fogelman is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance service requests and repairs for residents and properties in our Nashville portfolio. The role focuses on completing work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance while upholding high customer service standards.

The technician will handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repairs, using company tools and systems. Weekend shifts and on-call rotations may be required, with strict adherence to safety and Fair

Formación

• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification Type 1/2 or Universal.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficiency in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient with computers and online applications.
• Knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata and HappyCo preferred.
• May require valid driver's license and auto insurance depending on property.

Responsabilidades

• Complete all service requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready units.
• Maintain and inventory tools, supplies and equipment.
• Ensure personal tools are provided and maintained.
• Keep work area, tools and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies and Fair Housing.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor while providing excellent customer service to our residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.
• Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Responsible for supplying all personal tools.
• Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
• Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
• Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
• Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
• Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.
