Campus Apartments is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the property’s physical and mechanical upkeep. You will lead maintenance and support staff, coordinate capital projects, and ensure high-quality repairs and service for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma and relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, universal). A valid driver’s license and insurance are necessary, with preference for two years supervisory experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma.
• Additional education preferred.
• HVAC certification.
• Certification in electrical (commercial and residential).
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Licensed pool operator if the community maintains a pool.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate instructions accurately.

Aufgaben

• Maintain painting and cleaning of the property (internal and external).
• Perform maintenance work including mechanical tasks, code work, and fire alarm checks; lead capital projects completed in-house.
• Schedule capital improvement projects and apartment work.
• Set scope, obtain bids, check contractors and obtain approvals for outside work.
• Repair appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers) and obtain quotes when needed.
• Inspect boiler machinery and complete monthly reports; ensure good condition.
• Assist with snow removal where applicable.
• Order pool supplies and ensure proper maintenance where applicable.
• Maintain good tenant relations and inform GM of problems.
• Manage night and weekend maintenance staff; include bus drivers where applicable.
• Ensure timely, professional work orders completion by staff.
• Hire and terminate maintenance staff in cooperation with GM.
