Job summary

Southwood Realty Company in Burlington, NC is seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure efficient operation of the property buildings and grounds. You will perform on-site maintenance and preventative maintenance to keep the property in good condition.

Responsibilities include completing service and maintenance requests within 24 hours, following up to ensure customer satisfaction, complying with OSHA standards and safety policies, participating in improvement plans, producing turns on vacant units

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Constant need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting and repairing the property.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Must be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service and maintenance requests within 24-hours.
• Follow up on service requests to assure customer satisfaction.
• Insures OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times.
• Participate in implementation of an ongoing property maintenance and improvement plan.
• Produce turns on vacant units within 5 working days.
• Maintain 80% of vacant units in “ready” condition at all times.
• Maintain vacant units daily.
