Job summary

Cintra Realty Group in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the safety and comfort of residents by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnover. You will work with property managers and vendors to keep building systems—electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances—in good condition; respond to service requests; and document all work for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment, commercial, or residential maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Work outdoors and in varied conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Complete work orders timely and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues; implement repairs.
• Prepare units for new residents, including painting and cleaning.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Respond to resident service requests; coordinate with vendors.
• Document all work orders with notes and photos.
• Ensure repairs comply with codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and outside contractors.
