Job summary

Hickam Communities is seeking a Laborer in Honolulu, HI, to perform maintenance and cleaning across resident homes, centers, grounds and parking areas. This entry level role supports maintenance teams, assists with delivering tools and materials, and participates in setup and cleanup for various projects.

You will handle debris removal, basic repairs, and routine tasks while ensuring safe, efficient operations on site.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Entry level knowledge of basic maintenance preferred.
Must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet driving records standards.
Understand, read, write and speak English to follow basic instructions and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

Property Maintenance: Deliver tools, equipment and parts; assist with event setup; debris removal; pressure wash; load/unload; transport equipment to job sites.
General Responsibilities: Complete and submit paperwork; update work order status on mobile devices; maintain vehicle and inventory; conduct oneself professionally.
Respond to service calls and perform maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, lawn care, plumbing, electrical work, and other repairs as needed.
