Job summary

Westland Real Estate Group is seeking a Porter to maintain the beauty and safety of our community in California. The role is hands-on, outdoors, and activity-oriented, offering visibility of daily results as you keep common areas welcoming for residents and guests.

You will assist the maintenance team with light tasks, help prepare units for new residents, and ensure curb appeal remains high while supporting a friendly, proactive property environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or landscaping is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Grounds & curb appeal: keep property clean by walking grounds daily and tidying dumpster areas.
• Common area upkeep: ensure lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and pools are clean and presentable.
• Light maintenance & support: assist with bulbs, painting touch-ups, locks, and prepping vacant units.
• Resident support: greet residents and distribute notices with a friendly presence.
