Property Field Claims Representative - Southwest Ohio (Remote)

Join Celina Insurance Group as a Property Field Claims Representative - Southwest Ohio (Remote).

Position Overview

Celina Insurance Group is seeking a dedicated Claim Examiner to provide exceptional service to policyholders, third-party claimants, and internal customers. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or from our home office in Celina, Ohio, with occasional travel for training. Preference is given to candidates residing in Ohio or Indiana.

Key Responsibilities

1. Report timely, detailed, and accurate information on all assigned claims.
2. Review and adjust estimates of property and auto losses, verifying coverages.
3. Negotiate and resolve claims in accordance with the Unfair Claims Practices Act.
4. Attend mediations and conduct hearings in the Accelerated Dispute Resolution program.
5. Assist Claims Representatives with your expertise.
6. Develop rapport with agents and daily contacts.
7. Travel overnight occasionally as needed.
8. Participate in company catastrophe teams and special assignments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of policy language and interpretation.
• Expertise in claims settlement principles and practices.
• Familiarity with medical technology, law, repair techniques, and auto estimating.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions.
• Proficiency with computers and current technology.
• Ability to testify by deposition and trial if required.

Minimum Requirements

• Successful completion of IIA and/or AIC program studies.
