Job summary

SageSure is seeking a Field Property Claims Adjuster to travel to loss sites and assess damages and coverage. You will handle first-party homeowner and commercial claims, estimate repairs, and collaborate with contractors, public adjusters, and attorneys to resolve complex files.

The role requires 3+ years of field claims experience, proficiency with Claims Connect/Symbility, excellent communication, and a valid adjuster license with driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of field property claims experience.
  • Claims Connect/Symbility estimating experience, including large loss estimation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Empathetic interpersonal skills.
  • Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license; meets licensing in additional states as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Scope and estimate first party homeowners and commercial claims.
  • Investigate and evaluate coverage and damage issues, communicating your findings to customers.
  • Partner with external parties (contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, etc.) and internal business partners to handle complex claims.
  • Identify suspicious losses, recommending SIU review and assist in such investigations, when necessary.
  • Handle claims in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal processes.
  • Support catastrophe response as needed, to include potential overtime and deployment.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive our purpose and fulfill our values

You will play a vital role in providing an outstanding customer experience by leveraging investigative and estimation skills to handle a variety of homeowner claims in a high energy team environment. You will travel to loss sites to conduct damage and coverage assessments and, when appropriate, write estimates for repairs. As a member of the SageSure Field Claims Team you’ll have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in helping our policyholders get back to pre-loss condition. We’re looking for someone who has:
  • 3+ years of field property claims experience
