Job summary

A specialty insurance leader is seeking a Property Field Adjuster to manage property damage claims and conduct inspections. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, decision-making skills, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The position requires fieldwork and a clean driving record, with potential travel for catastrophe duties across the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Requires ability to lift, carry, set-up, ascend and descend ladders over 40 pounds.

  • Handle property field claims from First Notice of Loss to conclusion.
  • Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process.
  • Conduct field-based inspections to determine the extent of the loss.
  • Establish relationships with producing agencies.
  • Participate in catastrophe duty as needed throughout the U.S.

We\'re looking for a skilled and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Property Field Adjuster, where you\'ll manage property damage claims and conduct inspections throughout the Montgomery, Alabama area.

We\'re seeking an individual with excellent decision making skills, ability to work under pressure, solid organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, as well as time management skills to balance various tasks in a standard work day.

Responsibilities
  • Handle property field claims from First Notice of Loss to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, estimation development and subrogation / salvage assessment.
  • Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process, with prompt communication and excellent attention to detail.
  • Conduct field-based inspections to determine the extent of the loss and prepare detailed estimates and documentation to support insurance claims.
  • Establish relationships with producing agencies.
  • Participation in catastrophe duty as needed. CAT duty can be throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks.
Qualifications
  • Previous property claims experience is preferred.
  • Ability to scope, diagram and estimate damages.
  • Mobile home and Dwelling construction knowledge preferred.
  • You must have a Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work / industry experience.
  • A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Proficiency in Symbility, Xactimate or similar estimating platform experience.
  • Industry training, coursework, certifications are preferred. (AIC, CPCU, SCLA)
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, set-up, ascend and descend ladders in excess of 40 pounds.
