Job summary

American Avenue Property Management LLC, a boutique real estate fund, seeks a Residential Handyperson (Property Engineer) to inspect, repair, and maintain homes across the metro. You will be the face of AA, delivering safe, comfortable living environments and proactive service to residents.

Travel daily between homes, perform carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work, document conditions with handheld devices, and manage move-in/out turnovers while upholding professional standards and timely

Qualifications

• Multi-trade knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
• Advanced plumbing and HVAC skills; certifications preferred.
• Strong customer-focused communication with residents.
• Own tools and a reliable vehicle; valid driver's license.
• Proximity to service area and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work.
• Travel from home to home within your metro daily.
• Conduct property inspections, secure homes, and complete vacancy/wellness checks.
• Handle move-in/out meetings and property turnovers.
• Document property conditions using handheld devices and update work orders.
