PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To handle losses and claims for commercial, property, auto and casualty insurers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Providing outstanding customer experience.
  • Examining insurance policies and other records to determine insurance coverage.
  • Interviewing, telephoning, texting, emailing and/or corresponding with insureds, vendors, and agents regarding claims.
  • Writing estimates for cost of repair or replacement.
  • Preparing reports of findings and negotiating settlements with claim parties.
  • Revising case reserves in assigned claims files to cover probable costs.
  • Communicating status of claims effectively and often to all parties of the claim.

EDUCATION AND LICENSING:

Must have an active Property Adjuster License; Multi-state licenses preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. 3 plus years of property desk adjuster experience.
