You will take ownership of auto property damage subrogation files from start to finish, negotiating with insurance carriers, attorneys and uninsured motorists to maximize recoveries while delivering exceptional claim outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of auto insurance subrogation experience.
• Minimum 8–10 years of non-standard auto carrier experience.
• Knowledge of liability law.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to pass written examinations to become a licensed claims adjuster.
• Ability to work in-office on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Review evidence supporting property damage subrogation activity in accordance with policy.
• Contact carriers and attorneys to negotiate settlements compliant with regulations.
• Evaluate counter claims and review with Claims management.
• Review settlement offers for compliance with objectives and regulations.

Are you an experienced auto insurance subrogation professional who enjoys investigating liability, negotiating successful recoveries, and achieving results? We're looking for a Property Damage (PD) Subrogation Specialist to join our Claims team. In this role, you'll take ownership of auto property damage subrogation files from start to finish, working with insurance carriers, attorneys, and uninsured motorists to maximize recoveries while delivering exceptional claim outcomes.

The PD Subrogation Specialist will be responsible for the handling and resolution of all auto property damage subrogation claims. Must have the ability to determine, develop and negotiate the theory of liability with Third Party Carriers, attorneys and uninsured motorists, as well as resolve files in accordance with company objectives and applicable state regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review evidence required supporting property damage subrogation activity on claims in accordance with policy contract, corporate claims policy and state regulations
• Contact appropriate parties, insurance carriers, and attorneys, to negotiate settlements which are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations
• Evaluate all counter claims that present themselves and review with Claims management
• Review settlement offers with Claims management to ensure they are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations
• Achieve/maintain company goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
