Clausen Miller P.C. seeks a highly qualified first-party property coverage and defense attorney with 3–12 years of experience to be based in Irvine or San Francisco. The successful candidate will write coverage opinions for insurers and defend insurers in lawsuits.

Candidates must hold an active California license and be in good standing. The firm offers a hybrid in-office/remote schedule and a comprehensive benefits package including health care, disability coverage and retirement savings

Qualifications

• 3–12 years of experience in first-party property coverage and defense
• Active California license and good standing with California Bar
• Excellent written advocacy and litigation drafting skills

Excellent writer with substantial experience writing coverage opinions for insurers and/or defending them in lawsuits filed by Insureds. All candidates must have an active license to practice law in the state of California and be a member in good standing with the state bar. Salary range for this position is $120,000 to $200,000 per year/commensurate with experience.
