Job summary

Greystar in the United States is seeking a property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an apartment community. You will lead the on-site team, drive budgeted financial and operational goals, and ensure compliance with housing laws and company policies.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of property management experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong skills in budgeting, leadership, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and input property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection of rent and fees, with regular financial reporting.
• Approve invoices and manage vendor communications and payments.
• Control expenses within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, inspections, notices, and renewals as per lease terms.
• Analyze market/economic trends to shape marketing and leasing strategies.
• Respond to resident questions and service requests to maintain satisfaction and retention.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Engage with owners, provide performance updates, and manage owner requests.
