Qualifications

• Three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; state adjuster license required; II-AIC designation within 12–18 months recommended.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates policies, claims forms, endorsements and carrier instructions to determine coverage.
• Conducts investigations, gathers reports, interviews claimants and witnesses, and inspects damages.
• Estimats cost of repair or replacement and prepares findings for settlements.
• Negotiates settlements, issues checks, files regulatory documents, and handles salvage/subrogation as applicable.
• Recommends litigation when settlements cannot be reached and supports depositions as needed.
• Maintains caseload efficiency and uses technology for claim handling.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred
