Fairstead in New York is seeking a Porter to support custodial and maintenance tasks across the property. You will help maintain clean, safe living environments for residents and walk the property to ensure curb appeal and safety.

Exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location; compensation for this on-site role ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, and Fairstead offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• General interest in custodial and/or maintenance work and an ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and being on call.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing and maintaining the community features.
• Ensure a safe and clean-living experience for our residents.
• Maintain a high-level of customer service.
• Walk the property daily, inspecting all areas for cleanliness and safety, and helping to maintain great curb appeal.
