• Strong knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware; local building codes; structural repairs.
• Valid adjuster license for your working state(s).
• CPCU, AIC, or other relevant training preferred.
• Strong understanding of coverage, limits, and liability.
• Skilled in reaching fair settlements and resolving disputes.

Are you a detail-oriented investigator with a passion for helping others? We’re seeking experienced 1099 Field Claims Adjusters to serve various territories across the United States. In this role, you will play a key part in the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of insurance claims—ensuring accuracy, fairness, and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct On-Site Inspections: Visit damaged properties and assess loss.
• Gather Information: Interview policyholders, witnesses, and involved parties.
• Document Findings: Submit detailed reports with photos and documentation.
• Analyze Coverage: Review policy details and determine applicable coverage.
• Negotiate Settlements: Reach fair resolutions with claimants and third parties.
• Resolve Disputes: Address and close any disputes professionally.
• Communicate Clearly: Keep all stakeholders informed throughout the process.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with underwriters, legal, and internal partners.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow all state, federal, and internal regulations.
• Support CAT Events: Travel to catastrophe zones when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of field claims adjusting experience required
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware; local building codes; structural repairs
• Licensing: Valid adjuster license for your working state(s)
• Certifications: CPCU, AIC, or other relevant training preferred
• Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of coverage, limits, and liability
• Negotiation Ability: Skilled in reaching fair settlements and resolving disputes
