Job Description

A day in the life of a Field Property Adjuster:

You will provide exceptional service by conducting on-site inspections, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims efficiently. You will handle virtual claims nationwide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration, focusing on water losses to ensure top-tier customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Live Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring, demonstrating empathy and clarity.
• Investigate property claims independently, reviewing damages and interpreting policies.
• Communicate effectively via phone, email, and video to guide customers through the claims process.
• Negotiate claim settlements with customers and third parties, applying legal and business standards.
• Utilize various tools and platforms to assess damages and expedite claims.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in claims systems.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Experience as an outside adjuster
• Proficiency in Xactimate and estimating software
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to travel and handle virtual claims nationwide
• Residency in posted location; ability to carry ladders and access roofs

Required:

• Valid driver’s license
• Computer and typing skills

Training & Licensing

Two-week training in Wheeling, IL, with ongoing development opportunities. Licensing may be required within 60 days, with support from the company. Eligible for a $1,000 licensing bonus if licensed.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $50,700 to $89,062.50, based on experience.
