Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for on-site inspections, coverage investigations, estimate preparations, and claim settlements.
• Handle virtual claims nationwide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Specialize in water loss claims, providing high-quality customer support and resolution.
• Perform detailed damage assessments and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• Communicate effectively via phone, email, and video chat, ensuring a smooth claims process.
• Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, and third parties, adhering to legal and company standards.
• Use tools and platforms to facilitate claims processing efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the claims system.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience as an outside adjuster preferred.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and relevant estimating software.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel locally and virtually nationwide.
• Residency within Madison, WI, is mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch.

Training and Licensing

Comprehensive training provided, including approximately 2 weeks in Wheeling, IL. Licensing may be required within 60 days of hire, with support from the company. Eligible candidates may receive a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus.

Benefits and Compensation

Salary range: $50,700 – $89,062.50 annually, based on experience. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, and more, starting Day 1.
