Avanti Residential is seeking a Property Accounting Supervisor in Denver to lead the property accounting team, manage month‑end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This hybrid role combines in‑office collaboration with analytical independence and a focus on process improvement.

You will develop staff, review reconciliations, and partner with operations to resolve accounting questions while maintaining high internal controls and service standards for multi‑family assets.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience required.
• 2+ years of real estate experience preferred.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Yardi accounting software preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take the initiative to get things done.
• Demonstrates commitment to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, team player.
• Communication skills, both oral and written.

• Respond to inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests from internal and external parties

The Property Accounting Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the overall integrity of multi-family property financial records. On-going responsibilities include month-end close processes, financial statement preparations, internal support with accounting-related issues, and other month-end procedures. This position is responsible for developing and managing a team of property accountants.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed…

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience required.
• 2+ years of real estate experience preferred.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Yardi accounting software preferred.
• Detail-orientated, self-motivated, and willing to take the initiative to get things done.
• Demonstrates commitment to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, team player.
• Communication skills, both oral and written.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required.
• If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment is required. The assessment will arrive in the email inbox that you provided.
