Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a client in Bakersfield, CA, in seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join the team. The role requires solid property accounting experience and an active Real Estate License.

You will manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of properties, perform full-cycle accounting, prepare monthly statements and analyses, and support audits. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Real Estate License
• Previous property accounting or real estate accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of properties
• Perform full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and variance analysis
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and property-related accounts
• Review and maintain property budgets and financial records
• Track income, expenses, CAM charges, and other property-related transactions
• Work closely with property management and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
