Job summary

Accountants One, Inc. seeks an experienced accounting teammate to oversee the financial operations of a diversified real estate portfolio in the Atlanta area. You will manage reconciliations, prepare reports, and ensure compliance while collaborating with operations teams to drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in real estate accounting, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and expertise with Yardi software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in real estate management.
Proven experience with Yardi software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee, manage, and execute all financial operations for assigned properties within the real estate portfolio.
Update and prepare daily reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, and payables.
Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements for senior management.
Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and standards.
Collaborate with property operations teams to streamline financial procedures and processes.
Implement strategies to improve financial performance and minimize financial risks.
